Circa..1920's

Whoever said that baby girl's should only wear pink and bows is bananas! Black should be a staple in everyone's wardrobe.

I just love those roaring twenties.... some say I'm an old soul. A black sleeveless tank with a hint of sparkle around the neckline, a ruffle skirt for flair and leapord ballet flats are just too cool for baby play. I'll be sure to make a statement with a metallic champaign colored headband and pearls.

Can we say spotlight please..... Toodles, CC

Princess Grace

What little lady isn't inspired by Grace Kelly? Simplicity and feminine are two key looks that always work, no matter what the occassion is.

Every girl has fashion icons that inspire her style. A few of mine are Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy O, Rachel Zoe,and more recently Bee from the fashion blog Atlantic-Pacific . Her wardrobe is to die for.

Here I have a cream, empire wasted, sleeveless dress. A few embroidered flowers on the neckline and pleats add just a touch of detail. I couldn't resist wearing my favorite shoes, leopard print mary jane's trimmed in black patent leather. Adding one feminine accessory, such as a leapord and pink bow on a lacey hair band, keeps me feeling like a true princess. Don't forget the Ray-ban inspired shades... so key for every fashion plate baby.

Till we meet again, CC

Coming Up Roses

If you're anything like me, then life is just a bouquet of roses. Who says baby fashion has to be boring play clothes? I say celebrate with adorable details like fabric roses and pewter gray velvet bows to embellish a neckline. Pair that with a satin rose printed A-line skirt and my favorite gray knitted shrug, and I'm ready for a luncheon with my best friend, mom.

Now that is living... See you soon, CC

Midnight In Paris

A busy day of taking my dad to the airport calls for a chic ensemble. He might be heading to Southern Cali, but I'm feeling more like Paris.

Today I went with a monochromatic look in a midnight blue hue to soften my blue eyes. I paired my midnight shorts trimmed in ruffle, and an A-line tank, with a darling midnight cardigan that has ruffle detailing down the front. Tights to keep the chill off and a pair of pink mary jane's, make this toddler oh so happy. Polished my look off with classic Jackie O style sunglasses and a French paisley print swing coat.

I'll see you at the Cafe`... luv CC

Green With Envy

Back home in Milwaukee, but there is no loss of Holiday spirit for me. This is the absolute best day to cash in on the after Christmas sales for amazing finds.

Today I'm pairing an Emerald green top with my favorite white poplin capri pants. I'm not afraid of white after labor day.  I love to layer and keep it casual, so I'm wearing my go-to white cotton cardigan under my brother's hand-me-down denim jacket. I'm finishing the look with green and red-dotted ballet flats and a cherry red hair-band.

Off to the mall I go....

Holiday Cheer

They say the best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loudly for all to hear. I say make a statement and don't hold back.

Today I'm celebrating Christmas with ruby red layers of frill married with my favorite knitted slate grey sweater with a rose embellishment. Baby it's cold outside, so it's a must to stay warm with my smoky grey leggings and festive ballet flats.

Gossip Baby

Gossip baby here, where on the upper east side of Monmouth, IL calls for poppy pink leggings, chantily lace and a little fur to boot… As it’s my world and I will dress up if I want to.

Merry Christmas!
